Pinnacle’s Builder

David Kraizgrun is the owner and founder of DKMC CONSTRUCTION CO., INC. which began operations in 1984. The company’s original business model was to build affordable housing and industrial buildings in South Florida. Over a 15 year period DKMC built around 20 single family units a year along with multiple industrial warehouse projects consisting of space from 10,000 to 25,000 square feet.In 1998 lots for construction became scarce in Dade and Broward,DKMC started looking around the state for improved lots or developments that would allow for units to be built for the average home owner. After around a year, David had come up with a solution, Lee County. He bought his first project in 1999 and began looking for others for immediate start up with infrastructure already in. Bethany Trace was purchased in 2001,DKMC built 60 single family homes within a two year period. While building Bethany, a site off of Six Mile Cypress was purchased, a quality coach home development was planned as Bethany wound down. This 212 unit project named Portofino, was totally designed and planned by DKMC, while half way through the project Crosswind Developers purchased the project and completed in 2006.
DKMC has thrived for over 26 years while many firms have come and gone. With a simple philosophy of building quality products at reasonable prices, DKMC has survived several business cycles. With innovative product design, along with a simple philosophy of affordability, DKMC felt that these attributes leads to long term market sustainability.
Cascades, the premier 55 plus community in Lee, has now been purchased by Pinnacle Cascades, LLC, which is the sister company to DKMC. With a Resident run HOA along with 96 residents, Cascades has been beautifully maintained. Pinnacle felt that this development fit into its business model perfectly and purchased Cascades in April 2010. With its Home Town feel and being located next to an excellent golf course in River Hall, that this was another opportunity to continue building homes in Lee County.

My Husband and I recently purchased our retirement home from Pinnacle Cascades at River Hall. We would like to thank Woody Hughes developer representative and Darrell Peeples construction manager for their positive support and professionalism. Both Woody and Darrell have gone far out of their way to make our purchase and taking possession of the house as flawless as possible.
Pinnacle Cascades is still in its early stages of development, but it holds the promise of a great and active retirement community.
